During a three-day event at Unit-II Boys High School in Bhubaneswar, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik unveiled the winners. The awards will be distributed to pupils, principals, School Management Committees, alumni, Gram Panchayats, and district administrators. In his address to the students, the CM encouraged them to excel by doing the right things at the right time. He emphasized that now is the time for young individuals to acquire knowledge and establish their identities by succeeding in various professions.
Mukhyamantri Shiksha Puraskar Yojana Objectives
The main goal is to create a sense of purpose for everyone who supports the Odisha education system in any way. Funding for 1,500 teachers and 50,000 students will be provided by the government as part of this initiative.
Mukhyamantri Shiksha Puraskar Yojana Benefits
The awards will be distributed in two main categories—individual acknowledgments and group acknowledgments. Teachers, headmistresses, headmasters, and students will receive individual awards.
At the block, gram panchayat, and district levels, 100 secondary school educators in each of the seven selected subjects will be honored, along with recognition for headmistresses at multiple levels.
Students will be divided into three subcategories, each eligible for specific scholarships: one for qualified students, one for those showing leadership potential and excelling in extracurricular activities, and one for financially disadvantaged yet deserving students.
Outstanding alumni associations, school management committees, gram panchayats, and district administrations will receive institutional awards at the block, district, and state levels, respectively.
