Through the 2BHK Housing Scheme, the government of Telangana has distributed more than 65,000 houses in the Hyderabad, Medchal-Malkajgiri, Rangareddy, and Sangareddy districts in three stages.
If women from SC/ST/BC/minority communities own land to build a house, they can ask for help from the Telangana Gruha Lakshmi scheme. The government will give them a one-time grant of Rs. 3 lakh to build a 2-room house with a strong RCC frame and a toilet.

Telangana Double Bedroom Eligibility
Here’s Eligibility Criteria guidlines about who can apply for the Telangana 2BHK Housing Sheme:
- Applicant family’s yearly income must be less than Rs. 5 Lakh.
- The house will be approved by the family’s housewife.
- Family of applicant shouldn’t already own a house or land in Telangana.
- Only BPL Families are eligible for the sheme’s benefits.
- Families who live in huts, simple houses, or rented homes, or don’t have a home can apply.
- Applicant’s family must have lived in Telangana for at least 15 years before applying.
- They’ll consider SC/ST/Minorities backgrounds to choose who gets the benefits.
