TVS has officially launched the latest version of its popular sports bike, the Apache RR 310, with updates tailored to meet the new OBD2B emission norms. With India enforcing stricter emission regulations from the start of this month, several two-wheeler manufacturers are revamping their lineups. TVS has stepped in with its own upgrade, ensuring the RR 310 not only complies with these rules but also gets a host of exciting new features.
This refreshed model doesn’t just bring technical updates for compliance but also adds advanced electronics and design enhancements to attract sportbike enthusiasts. The RR 310 now features modern rider-assist systems, aesthetic improvements, and multiple customization options. All these changes, however, come with a slight bump in pricing, making it a premium choice for performance-focused riders.
Compliant with New Emission Norms
TVS has made sure the Apache RR 310 meets the latest OBD2B (On-Board Diagnostics) emission standards. These stricter norms are designed to keep pollution in check, and manufacturers are now required to add systems that constantly monitor emission levels and alert riders in case of any faults.
Key Upgrades and New Features
The 2025 RR 310 gets several upgrades that improve both performance and rider experience. Notable additions include:
- Launch Control – Helps you take off from a standstill with maximum acceleration.
- Cornering Drag Torque Control – Maintains stability during sharp turns and sudden deceleration.
- Sequential Turn Indicators – Add a stylish and modern look to the bike.
- New 8-Spoke Alloy Wheels – Borrowed from the RTR 310, these wheels enhance both design and handling.
These new features aim to make the RR 310 not just a better track performer but also a more stylish and tech-rich ride on everyday roads.
Engine and Performance
Despite the upgrades, the core mechanical setup of the RR 310 remains the same. It continues to be powered by a 312cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine, capable of delivering 38 horsepower and 29 Nm of torque. The engine is paired with a 6-speed gearbox, and TVS offers a slipper/assist clutch for smoother shifting. For those who enjoy aggressive riding, there’s an optional bi-directional quickshifter, allowing clutchless gear changes in both directions.
Design & Customization Options
TVS has carried over the sleek design of the previous model but introduced a new and striking Sepang Blue colour inspired by its racing roots, particularly the Asia One Make Championship. This paint scheme adds a sporty visual edge and comes at an additional cost.
In terms of wheels, the RR 310 now features the same premium alloy design found on its sibling, the RTR 310. These wheels not only improve appearance but also offer better performance in terms of grip and stability.
Pricing and Variants
With the latest updates, the base variant of the TVS Apache RR 310 now starts at ₹2.78 lakh (ex-showroom), which is ₹3,000 more than before. If you opt for the version with the quickshifter, the price goes up to ₹2.95 lakh. For those who prefer the Bomber Grey shade, expect to pay ₹3 lakh.
Choosing the Sepang Blue colour adds ₹10,000 more to the price tag, making a fully equipped version cost significantly above ₹3 lakh.
Built to Order (BTO) Options
TVS continues to offer its Built To Order (BTO) platform, allowing customers to personalize their Apache RR 310 even further. There are two optional upgrade packs:
- Dynamic Pack – ₹18,000
Includes advanced features like adjustable suspension and upgraded brakes. - Dynamic Pro Pack – ₹34,000
A comprehensive package that includes the quickshifter, race-tuned settings, and additional tech upgrades.
These packs are ideal for riders who want a track-ready machine straight out of the showroom.
With the 2025 update, TVS has smartly blended compliance, technology, and style into one solid package. The Apache RR 310 remains a strong contender in the sports bike segment, offering both performance and aesthetics for a slightly higher price. Whether you’re a racing enthusiast or someone who enjoys spirited weekend rides, the new Apache RR 310 is built to impress.
