In order to allocate around 50 days for the election campaigning in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, a crucial meeting was held late Thursday night. The meeting was attended by prominent leaders such as UP CM Yogi Adityanath, Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya, Gujarat CM Bhupendra Patel, MP CM Mohan Yadav, Chhattisgarh CM Vishnu Dev Sai, among others.

During the meeting, several seasoned leaders were involved in discussions to finalize candidates for challenging constituencies. Sources suggest that the BJP Candidate List for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections was a key topic of discussion, and consensus was nearly reached on the names of candidates.

According to sources within the BJP, the following names have emerged from the recent meeting held late on Thursday night, where the finalization of candidates for the Lok Sabha elections 2024 was discussed:

In Uttarakhand:

  • Ajay Bhatt may contest from Almora
  • Tamta Nainital seat might see Ajay Bhatt as well
  • Rajlakshmi Shah could be a candidate from Tehri Garhwal

For Jharkhand:

  • Annapurna Devi
  • Arjun Munda
  • Sunil Kumar
  • Nishikant Dubey are the prominent names being considered

In Madhya Pradesh:

  • Shivraj Singh Chouhan is likely to contest from Vidisha
  • VD Sharma is a potential candidate from Khajuraho
  • Jyotiraditya Scindia may contest from Guna Shivpuri

BJP Candidate 1st List

During discussions, it has been revealed that the BJP has unveiled its first list of candidates for approximately 30 seats in Uttar Pradesh. Some of the notable names include:

  • Rajkumar Chahar from Fatehpur Sikri
  • Sadhvi Niranjan Jyoti from Fatehpur
  • Subrata Pathak from Muzaffarnagar
  • Sanjeev Baliyan from Basti
  • Harish Trivedi from Bansgaon

In addition, prominent leaders like Paswan, Ajay Mishra Teni from Lakhimpur Kheri, and SP Singh Baghel from Agra are likely to be re-nominated.

Moving to Delhi, for the 8 seats there:

  • Pravesh Verma may contest from West Delhi
  • Ramesh Bidhuri is a potential candidate from South Delhi
  • Manoj Tiwari is expected to be fielded again in North East Delhi.

There’s also discussion about introducing new candidates for some of the seats in Delhi.

BJP Candidate List 2024

In the BJP’s Central Election Committee meeting held in Delhi on February 29, which was primarily convened for the preparation of the Lok Sabha Election 2024, key figures such as Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, party General Secretary Bill Santosh, as well as BJP state chiefs, state presidents, in-charges, co-in-charges, and election in-charges were in attendance.

The meeting, aimed at finalizing the BJP Candidate List for the Lok Sabha Election 2024, commenced at 11:00 pm last Thursday and concluded around 3:15 am the following morning, totaling a duration of approximately 4 hours. During this session, discussions were held regarding 155 Lok Sabha seats spanning across 17 states. BJP Lok Sabha Candidates List 2024

In a press conference held at the BJP headquarters in Delhi, the list of candidates was unveiled by BJP’s National General Secretary Vinod Tambde. This list was formulated after thorough discussions with leaders from nearly all states who participated in the CEC meeting on February 29.

As per the BJP Lok Sabha Candidates List 2024, a total of 195 candidates have been nominated for the Lok Sabha seats in the initial list for the upcoming Lok Sabha Election 2024. Among these candidates, there are 34 union ministers, 28 women, and 47 individuals under the age of 50.

Furthermore, the BJP Lok Sabha Candidates List 2024 also includes representation from various communities, with 27 candidates from the SC community, 18 from the ST community, and 57 from the OBC category being allotted seats.
